Vivo on Saturday teased the launch of a new Y-series in India. Called the Vivo Y73, the smartphone is listed on the official website as “coming soon.” The teaser also gives a glimpse of the rear panel, which houses a rectangular camera panel and textured graphics-like design. According to Mysmartprice, the upcoming Vivo Y73 price in India will be pegged at ₹20,999 for the base model. Vivo Y73 will come with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 408ppi pixel density, and HDR 10 support. The front will also house an in-display fingerprint reader.

For performance, Vivo Y73 will rely on MediaTek’s octa-core 12nm Helio G95 processor. The report notes that the G95 also powers a wide range of Android smartphones, including Redmi Note 10S and Infinix Note 10 Pro. For graphics, the Vivo Y73 will house Mali-G76 GPU. The 12nm processor will be coupled with 8GB of RAM. It will also have 128GB of built-in storage.
The company may also launch multiple memory options. Vivo Y73 smartphone will come with microSD card support for expandable storage. On the software front, it will have Android 11-based FuntouchOS 11.
The Vivo Y73 smartphone will house a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone is said to come with Bluetooth 5.0, 4G and dual-SIM support.
